It Powers on and...
When holding the red lever/switch in (to simulate a tape):
The right spindle spins for FF and Play Record
The left and right spin for Rewind
While spinning w PA on the mike does work at medium sound level - There is a very loud tone at higher volume that blocks out the mic
If there is something else I can test for you please let me know - I do not have tapes.
