Vintage/Classic PENN Spinfisher No. 710 "greenie" spinning reel,

What we have here is a “fishable” classic vintage spinning reel. It’s a PENN ‘ greenie ’ model 710 , circa 1966. This nearly 70-year-old reel is fully functional but does exhibit signs of aging and use. The reel has been refurbished. The medallion is not original. It's a paper aluminum backed facsimile. There is also the name of a previous owner inscribed in the bottom of the case. Also, I was unable to remove the handle fearing that to apply more pressure could break it off! However, it’s clean, thoroughly lubricated, although it reels a tad stiffly but freely. The reel features all aluminum construction including the gold aluminum spool, front reel drag, full-bail, folding handle, anti-reverse, one-screw gear box access, and a light-yellow torpedo shaped handle knob that turns freely. Makes for a great surf fishing reel (World Record Striped Bass caught using this model reel!). Its gear ratio is 3.8:1, line capacity of 300/8 250/10 200/12 180/15 150/17, double that if using braid, and it weighs approximately 18 oz. S&H is by 2 lb. economy mail.
