Vintage True Temper Fiberglass 5 ft. Casting Rod - “SpeedLock”

Up for sale is this 60 in. 1-piece casting rod. For the rod’s age I would consider the condition to be very good to excellent. I cleaned the rod and applied fiberglass protectant to the blank and U-40 Cork Seal. The cork is in excellent condition. The Speedlock still works great. The tension is high. On the bottom of the handle it reads “”SpeedLock” Pat. No.2102237.” On the inside handle it reads “True Temper True Temper Corporation Geneva, Ohio.” There are 4 guides including the tip. The guides and tip are the original one’s. However, the windings have been done over and as you see from the photos a less than adequate was done.
