Vintage Penn No. 77 Sea Hawk Reel

Very popular Penn No 77 reel.  These were made from the 1950's up until the 1980's.  Direct gear multiplier 3:1.  No drag system.  (use your thumb)  This style of older reel is often called a knuckle-buster: there is no anti-reverse.  The handle turns both ways to pay out line, or retrieve.  Popular economical reel for bottom fishing.  I have taken them apart, cleaned old grease and grime, re-lubed with Penn Reel grease and Lucas Reel oil.  Auction is for 1 reel, select quantity in the drop down menu.
