Vintage Olympic 707 Bait casting Reel, Japanese, Red
This mid century bait-casting reel is in fantastic shape. There is some storage ware with a dark smudge on the top lefthand side of the reel. (See Photos)
The reel foot does have some spotty rust but is solid. The handle and spinal have no damage and both rotate smoothly, forward and back. The line guild and pawl are both free from rust or corrosion, and both function as designed with no problems. The bait-clicker functions as designed with smooth movement forward and back.
It is a small reel about 2 3/8” in diameter, it stands about 2 1/4” tall, and is with handle 3 1/2” wide.
Gear ratio- 3.0 :1
Weight- 4.4 oz.
Capacity- 100 yards 12 lbs test mono line
