Vintage Ocean City Mfg No. 985 Reel. This reel was made for Salt Water, Lake and River Trolling Reel. Made For 3 Years: 1955-1957.
The reel is in great shape for its age. Shows signs of wear on the handle and plastic outer shell. There is surface corrosion on the metal parts. The reel engages and disengages when flipping the lever on the side. There is the usual clicking sound as you reel in the line. See all pictures.
I would recommend replacing the line that is currently on the reel before attempting to use.
