Vintage 70mm Movie Film Reel (2000') and 25' of Celluloid Film Spilling Off. Movie memorabilia. Home theater.
One genuine 70mm "large format" movie projector reel (take-up side) from NYC movie theater surplus. Shiny, thick gauge metal construction, has scuffs and scratches consistent with years of projector theatrical use. The center core has a cutout to fit the 70mm celluloid film which is shown spilling off the reel. The 70mm celluloid film (see closeups) is an unknown animated movie, is free from scratches, still shiny and flexible and the image is clear and sharp when viewed with a backlight.
Diameter is 22" Depth 3" (distance between flanges).
Used in film movie theaters for blockbuster movies like "The Dark Night" "2001: A Space Odyssey" "The Sound of Music" "Interstellar" and "The Hateful Eight"
