Super Rare Vintage Alcedo No. 2 Spinning Reel.
This reel was made in the mid 40's . It's very rare . Has 2 oil ports for lubrication . It's stamped Fabb Italia Brevettato . Serial No. 566 . A straight foot stem . All original . No looseness or noises . Has wear from use and age . Has some rust on bail components . Some small tiny chips on foot from mishandling . I'll leave cleaning and restoration to the new owner . However this is a museum piece and should probably be left alone . The bail spring is weak . Reel weighs 12.3 ounces on my scale . I leave the research on its rarity and value to you .
