Sony TC-854-4 Three Motor Reel To Reel Player Recorder VIDEO DEMO Parts Repair
This reel to reel was working and sent across the country to a buyer in the original Sony box and packaging. FedEx attempted 3 times to deliver to the person (it required a signature) and was unable to. At this point it was sent back to me. During all this traveling damaged. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be working correctly and the wood case sustained damage. The unit doesn't seem to control the tape speed correctly. As you can see in the video. The wood of the case seems to be okay (it's not split or broken) but the alignment of the pieces is off at the corner. I haven't played a tape because of the speed issue and it's being sold as is for parts or repair. Included is the original manual, extra belts, RCA cables, Power Cable, Dust Cover and other paper work including design schematic. I will ship this to you safely. I will ship it it a heavy duty double wall box with plenty of foam to protect it. Please feel to reach out if you have any questions. This machine deserves another lease on life.
