Sony TC-255 Reel to Reel Tape Recorder VG Cosmetics Works in FWD & REW 4

This was my families player and has always been well kept in a dry smoke free environment. When tested it was found that fast forward and reverse are both working. When "play" is engaged it does not play. Reel moves just a smidge then stops. With reel off and play engaged I could see spindle move a rotation or so then stop. Sold for parts or repair.
