Click images to enlarge Description Sony Superscope Sterecorder Model 555 Tube Reel to Reel Player Untested As-Is For your consideration is this Sony Superscope Sterecorder 555 Reel to Reel Tape Player/Recorder.  Cosmetically the reel-to-reel is in good condition for its age.  The bottom cover will not stay flush on either corner.  When you push the cover back in it will eventually pop back out again.  The top cover appears to be missing.  The original case it came in is unfortunately missing as well.  One of the wires appears to have been spliced (please see pictures).  I purchased this unit from a tinkerer.  Due to the age of the unit and my lack of knowledge, I did not attempt to test this reel-to-reel.  For this reason, I am selling the reel-to-reel as untested and as-is with no returns.
