ROBERTS/RHEEM Model 778X Stereo Cross Field Reel to Reel & 8-Track Tape Deck WORKS! NICE!
Unit is in nice vintage condition, CLEAN, and works and sounds great! NO scratchy volume! Two things are missing-- 1: The smaller capstan sleeve for slower speed playback and recording of the reel to reel tapes(can be purchased cheap online), and 2: The orange lens cover that goes over the 8 track current program indicator lamps one through four in the lower right hand corner of the unit. The units built in speaker on the left hand side sounds slightly distorted but when using headphones the sound quality is excellent
so the left hand speaker is maybe going bad. 8 Track player works great! SEE PICS AND DEMO VIDEO FOR MORE DETAILS!
