Penn Squidder 146-UNUSED-MINT - Carl Newell Spool & Cross-Bars -Lubed

PENN Squidder 146 - Long Throw surf casting reel. These reels have been the Gold Standard in long throw distance casting reels for more than 60 years. Beautiful Dark Maroon Side Plates. This reel is spotless, looking like it was upgraded with the Newell accessories and then stored and never used. Upgrades include the Carl Newell aluminum spacer bars as well as the Newell aluminum spool. Both very sought after upgrades. There is absolutely no corrosion; None (See Photos). Reel also has the Smoooth Drag upgrade with the Carbontex drag stack installed.  Spool Bearings have been cleaned and lubed and they run very fast. Gears run super smooth and the Newell aluminum spool is smooth and very fast. This beauty has steel and brass internals and has been recently cleaned, serviced and upgraded. Has not been slathered in grease but has been cleaned and lubed at critical points. This Squidder 146 is ready for the circuit, beach or your boat.  I ship to the lower 48 states only.
