Penn 110 Senator 1/0 With Tiburon 99 Frame Conversion Made In The USA.
The Penn 1/0 Senator was 1st made in the early 40's and stayed in production until the mid 80's. This is a very unique reel because almost every part is interchangeable with a Penn 501. But...it has the added strength of the double ringed sideplates synonymous with all Senator models. So I thought why not, Jigmasters can be upgraded, why not make a 1/0 I've never seen. It worked out AWESOME! This is the 4th 1/0 I've successfully converted. This reel was just serviced by the best Reel Service Tech in Orange County California. He installed custom made Carbon Drags and re-greased every moving part with the appropriate grease thickness required. I added and assembled all the other parts, which will be listed below. This reel has very little boat rash. Please see pictures. The E-Lever is opposite than the modern reel. Forward is out of gear and back is in gear. This reel has a great freespool and a nice loud clicker. These Penn 110 Senators are gaining popularity, and this reel is only the 4th one I have ever built.
