Panasonic RQ-500 Portable Reel to Reel Tape Player Recorder With Microphone.
The unit has been tested and it does play a reel but it’s very quite. It fast forward and rewinds fine. I even tested the recording feature and it works. The sound is louder when I used headphones and had the unit on stop and pressed down the record button and talked into the microphone. The microphone works also. The level indicator never moved so I assume that it’s not working. The only issues I could find was that it plays very quite and the level indicator.
It does have a melted spot on the front that caused some brown stains. It looks like something hot was leaned against it at one time. Please see the pictures.
I’m not very knowledgeable at all on reel to reel players.
