outstanding vintage Montague Rapidan bamboo fly rod

if you're looking for a good example of this rod this is probably as good as you'll find.
it is nine feet with two straight end or tip sections.
I have looked at all sections and can only find one small fleck of missing original finish
which is shown in the photo of the decal on the butt section.
this is a straight rod with no sets or bends or distortions.
it is not tired and has great action. I think this rod has also had minimal use. and been well cared for.

comes with the original case and cover however the cap is missing on the case.
the sections have a nice snap or pop when separated...important to me.
