Through the years, these gorgeous Akai 7" R-7MH metal reels will resurface after being almost lost to time. We can say with certainty that these are highest quality that we have ever located. These were produced in extremely limited numbers in the 1970s as their use was for special kinds of recordings and playback. They hold half the amount of audio tape (Hence the model name R-7MHalf) while providing a very special look. 

We have four total for sale. The boxes have evidence of wear, and on the back spine there is writing in German. And some tiny stickers with sticker residue on the back. The front of the boxes have some old glue residue on the bottom area as pictured. These were from an audio shop in the 1970s and were treated beautifully through the years as you can see.
