This is a great reel; it is a reasonable weight, with good balance, comfortable handle and grip, a strong smooth retrieve. The free spool mechanism works properly, level wind mechanism works, with a good drag system. A recessed foot keeps this baitcast reel low on the rod making it easy to palm and cast. The reel does show wear to most edges on the body of the reel; you will notice mainly wear on the paint and or paint chips. The reel also has an after-market cast control knob that works well.
