- flat roped rim tension knob
- full length smooth alloy foot
- Nickel silver locking screw
- stamped internally
- owners initials professionally engraved on winding plate
- central Hardy logo
- parts stamped internally “22”
Unfortunately someone put a scratch on the spool and this can be common (don’t slip when removing screw ) and from the looks of it took some of the original leading off trying to remove the scratch
I believe the features of this reel would make its production in the 1920s+\- ?
You don’t see 3 1/2” for this era too often
