Vintage Garcia Mitchell 308 Ultra-Light Spinning Reel - Rare

Vintage Garcia Mitchell 308 Ultra-light Spinning Reel. No. 074637. I believe this is probably the 1st release version which started in 1959 based on my research of the serial number and it has the word FR'O'NCE molded in the body.  Handle is spring loaded and folds. The Garcia Mitchell 308 was first made for the US, CAN, and UK markets in 1959. Garcia Mitchell 308 reels were made from 1959 - 1986, and 1,771,109 units were produced. First release version started in 1959 with serial numbers 039061 and ended at 086415. The early 1959 release version had the Garcia Mitchell name and FR’O’NCE molded on the body above the anti-reverse like this reel. In addition, early versions have a slotted lock nut under the spool. Reel Works fine.  Body has a very small ding along the back edge (near the chrome screw cover plate).  Otherwise, in very good condition and all original.  Works fine.
