I purchased this reel while living in Florida in the 90's, with intention of using it for open water fishing, but moved back north before getting a chance to use it.
It has been carefully stored with my remaining open-water gear for 30 years. I pulled it out this past summer with intent of using it for catfish tournaments, strung with heavy braid (80-lb?) and a mono leader, but still never used it.
See pictures for condition. There are some marks from loose storage and moving, but assure you it has never been used.
