This machine is in a great condition. Very clean. This machine is one of the rare Reel to Reels that comes with DBX. It was recently serviced by one of Atlanta's best tech and calibrated to factory specs. All the knob, buttons, ports and lights works beautifully. The Rewind and the FF buttons also works great. The cabinets and faceplate were cleaned and polished. Awesome machine in absolutely great condition. See actual posted pics of the machine. Please note that this aucion is for Teac X-2000R, 2(x) 10" hub adapters, 1(x) Metal take up reel (not pictured), 1(x) owner's Manual (PDF). Description
The X-2000R incorporates a variety of functions and features including dbx noise reduction, an auto-locator function which is convenient in replay and editing and block-repeat.
To maintain very stable tape motion with optimum tape tension, it uses a full tension servo control system in which a photo-interrupter senses the position of the tension arm so that the servo mechanism can adjust the torque of the reel motor.
This mechanism eliminates the need for manual switching when using different types of reels.
In the design of the electronic circuits the same concepts were applied, especially for the high level recording required by professionals. Specifications
