Ampex Model 934 reel to reel tape player not working correctly very old &

. I plugged it in and it turns on the fan spins but when it's hooked up to speakers it doesn't make any sound. So I'm not really sure what the issue is. Also the little gray piece that detaches from where the tape runs through. It's very loose. Doesn't really stay on. Other than that I'm not really sure what to say.
I'm not an expert in this. See pictures. This will ship the cheapest way, probably usps ground.
Will be packed with crushed paper not bubble.
