3 Vintage Scarce Four Brothers Reels

I’m growing old (as dirt) and am selling off much of my personal collection of prime fishing reels, many having original boxes or facsimile replica storage/display boxes. IMPORTANT: Many of the fishing reels listed are from my personal collection. In most cases, the reels come with a box, some original, others are facsimiles that I designed and made. Facsimile boxes are complimentary and have no bearing on the selling price. I will always indicate when a reel that’s listed has an original or facsimile box included . In this case, each reel comes with its facsimile box used for S&H purposes! What we have here are three classic/vintage fishing reels manufactured by the Enterprise Mfg. Co., Akron, Ohio, U.S.A., the famous manufacturer of Pflueger fishing reels, circa early 1900’s. Enterprise also made the lower priced brands of “FOUR Brothers” and “Portage.” The three reels listed are all FOUR Brothers brand reels. They are as follows: ELINOR No. 4159 60 Yard Nickel Plated Bait Cast reel. It’s in EXCELLENT condition both in appearance and mechanically. RUBBER CITY No. 1443 60 Yard Nickel Plated Bait Cast reel. This reel is in GOOD condition appearance wise and EXCELLENT condition mechanically. It is spooled with vintage black braided bait cast line. RUBBER CITY No. 2758 250 Yard Nickel Plated Deep Sea Saltwater reel. This patented reel has many features including 2-screw take-apart, free spool, anti-reverse, PFLUEGER-WILLIAMS drag (with Instructions), “clicker,” and a black torpedo shaped handle knob that turns freely. I rate the reel GOOD in appearance and VG mechanically. The handle knob section of the handle has been welded on. Also, the reel is spooled with vintage ‘green’ braided nylon line. This is a very sturdy heavy-duty reel that weighs 27.8 oz. with the line. S&H will be at the 4 lb. rate.
