Garcia Mitchell 301 right hand wind spinning reel, manufactured in France in 1970, serial number 8798063 engraved on the foot. Comes in black and red clam shell box with an extra spool in Mitchell container.

This reel has been used, but the paintwork only has small rubs and light scratches (see pictures). The reel is fully functioning with a very smooth retrieve and working anti-reverse. The bail spring is strong and flips over with a loud click.
The box is solid, with no cracks (see pictures). The extra spool is in a Mitchell plastic container with a crack in the lid.
This is an excellent condition, fully functioning, 50+ year old reel, to fish with or add to a collection.
