1968 Garcia Mitchell 410 Spinning Reel, in Matching Number Box and

Garcia Mitchell 410 spinning reel, with precision roller bearings, manufactured in France in 1968, serial number 7070529 engraved on the foot and printed on a white label stuck to the side of the box.
Comes in black and red clam shell box with matching serial number 410 label and extra spool in Mitchell container.

This reel has been well used, and the paintwork has rubs on the edges of the housing, rotating head and foot where it attaches to the rod (see pictures). The reel is fully functioning with a smooth retrieve and working anti-reverse. The bail spring is strong and flips over with a loud click.
The box is solid, with no cracks (see pictures), with the matching serial number sticker on the side. The extra spool is in a Mitchell plastic container with a crack in the lid.
This is a good condition, fully functioning, 50+ year old reel, to fish with or add to a collection.
