Garcia Mitchell 400 spinning reel, manufactured in France in 1963, serial number 3600222 engraved on the foot. Comes in blue and red box with Garcia label and extra spool in undamaged container.

This reel has been used, and the paintwork has some rubbing on the base of the housing, edges of the rotating head and foot where it attaches to the rod (see pictures). The reel is fully functioning with a smooth retrieve and working anti-reverse. The chrome is shiny and the bail spring is strong and flips over with a loud click. The box is solid, with some shelf wear (see pictures), and the extra spool is in a plastic container with no cracks.
This is a very good condition, fully functioning, 60 year old reel, to fish with or add to a collection.
